Tahoe and Tadpoles

Summer is here! We are living it up. Last summer was spent working on the house so this summer it is all about fun! We got to go to lake Tahoe for a weekend get away with some of my best friends from Sandy Ut. I loved every minute. It was so nice to catch up with the Olson's.

We did some fun hiking.

And playing by the beach! It was just like old times hanging out with Janelle.

For the 4th Of July we did the most patriotic thing we could think of. Tadpole hunting. 

Seriously, Chico doesn't have much to offer for the holiday. We saw some short fireworks in the evening and played in the creek all afternoon. We caught 30 tadpoles easily! Brooklyn was in Heaven.
